Spring Break ...

Monday, April 20, 2009 |
Has sadly come to an end.
It was a great week off {with the exception of the computer issues we've had} and I could really use just one more week; please?
It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you don't have to the leave the house from 8~5 each day. I must admit I also enjoyed lounging in my pj's and enjoying an extra cup of coffee each morning.
We were lucky enough to have sunshine and warm temperatures. There were even a few days in the high 70's ~ yeah!
How many more days until summer vacation?
I think I may need to start a count down calendar ~ something like a Christmas advent calendar with the chocolates in each window : )
We celebrated spring with our first visit of the season to Eliza B . There were so many wonderful choice that it was really hard to pick just a couple.

I added to my pink collection and also added a few "fun" items as well ~ can't wait to wear them.

However, that day must be postponed. It is 50 today with heavy showers in the forecast. Oh yes, reality has returned with the reminder that we live in the northeast and it's just not ready to commit to 70 degrees just yet.
Hope you have a great day!
Jo

I love the Eliza B.'s! I had my mom go last time she was up that way, I was just thinking that I need to order a new pair! So glad you had some nice days on spring break...even here in the south we are still waiting for warm, sunny days. Have a great week!

We had a beautiful weekend too, but it is now cooler here! My family and I were in Chapel Hill yesterday for the UNC v. Miami baseball game...love going back and walking down Franklin St. My husband and I were married at the Methodist Church right there in the middle of everything! Love springtime there!

I couldn't agree more about that luxurious extra cup in the morning...few things are better than having that option on a weekday! I feel your pain with the weather...what on earth Mother Nature?!!

I am a retired teacher and May was always my absolute favorite month. Hang in there- it won't be long.
