I’m a single gal this evening.
{and enjoying it!}
My husband is on travel which means …
I’ll be chatting with my girlfriends and catching up
I get to choose the TV program I want
There will be a long bubble bath in my immediate future
The entire bed is mine ~ I’ll be in the middle
The bathroom will be neat and tidy
Our home will be {really; almost too} quiet
And
A light girly dinner for one
I vacillated between the following dinner options:
Ben and Jerry’s with a glass of chardonnay
OR
Sushi, edamame and a glass of chardonnay
{I went with the latter}
Yum!
Have you tried 14 Hands chardonnay?
If not, you really should.
It's from Washington State and offers a slight buttery refreshing taste ~ just lovely!

Your evening sounds like such fun! From the dinner options, I'd have chosen "both"! Hope you had fun!
Oh enjoy!! Not sure what Ben & Jerry's is but the sushi looks amazing and would have won my vote - the chardonnay was always a no brainer:) Hope you enjoyed your quiet evening with a clean bathroom - my idea of luxury! Wishing you a wonderful week Jo ~ Tina xx

Hi Jo,
I'm so happy you stumbled on my blog and left such sweet comments about my black eye from the beach:-) Now I get to visit yours and it is so pretty. I love your writing...you even have a way of convincing me that I missed out on a home sales party. lol
I don't get many of these single nights but when I do, they sound much like yours...except I eat Ben and Jerry's Phish Food or Whirled Peace. I just LOVE those guys!!!
Hope your evening was wonderful from start to finish.

Hi Jo,
Every once in a while, it is nice to have some "me time".
Your evening sounds great and the sushi and edamame beans was a great choice, especially with a nice glass of chardonnay.
