S P R I N G

The last few days have been beautiful. The warm temperatures are a delightful reminder that summer is on it's way.

My sweet husband helped me put together my green house. Once it's up, it's officially spring in my book.

The warm sunshine on my face has been the mood booster I've SO needed. Not to scare you, but I actually had a skort on the other day ~ I think I may have blinded my neighbors with my oh so white legs!

Last weekend I picked up a few plants from our locally owned nursery. I have found over the years that it's best to purchase certain plants as soon as you see them because they usually aren't there when you return a few weeks later.

My first round of plantings included tomatoes, patty pan squash, pumpkins, morning glories and ranunculus. I hope to get a few more trays planted this afternoon while the warm weather continues.

Next week is Spring Vacation and we are due to be back in the 50's so I am trying to make the most of this week.

Ooo I like you greenhouse! I have something similar but it is only a couple of feet tall but area wise is pretty big.
We got quite a lot of veggie seeds planted last weekend so they are in the basement until we get some solid warm weather!

Oh gosh I love that greenhouse! Can you believe we are due for a frost?!? The saying is ...never plant your flower pots before Derby. Yeah right, that's what my big roll of burlap is for!
Have a warm & sunny day!

Hi Jo, I love your greenhouse! Enjoy your planting, it is Autumn here and most of my plants are brown and crunchy and hibernating already! Wishing you a wonderful weekend ~ Tina x

A greenhouse!! That's so cool. I'm such a black thumb. I kill all things green. Even our yard. lol. I'm trying to read some good books for beginners. Any suggestions?

I hope that you enjoy the Spring Break! It looks like the weather there is getting a bit nicer. I read your post about the terrible rain you had-we have had an enormous amount of rain here this year too.

Thank you so much for visiting-it is lovely to "meet" you!

Best wishes and happy Spring,
Natasha.

I love that greenhouse--where did you get it? I could really use something similar. I too buy my plants when I see them but as you know it is still too early for me to actually put them in the ground!
