After such a laborious  morning, we plopped down on the beautiful lawn and enjoyed the freshest "bestest" lunch they had to offer.

One day we hope to take part in Dinners at the Farm.

Can't think of a better way to spend a lazy summer morning.

We just need more days in the summer for all the activities and social engagements this season offers! :)

Thank you for all your sweet comments.

I took the photos but nature did all the work!

I made beets for the very first time and not only were they easy, but delicious! You really should try them.

Stunning photos! Try beets in the cooler months roasted. I add them to the bottom of a roasting pan with other roots as I am roasting a chicken or turkey. Mmmmm!

Dear Jo,

I fell in love with your French Market Basket and went to the website. As I was unsure of the stlye and size I emailed the owner. She got right back to me and my basket is on it's way! The customer service is excellent and the price was perfect! You have great taste!

Thank you, now I can fill it with wonderful things, at the farmers markets near me.

Warmly, Kathleen
