I've tried.
Really, I've tried very hard.
It's just no use ...
no matter how hard I focus and concentrate.
Technology and I just weren't meant to be friends.
It's called Incredible for a reason!
An intelligent mother knows after much time has elapsed ...
to pass her new phone off to her son to program.
Yep, it took him a matter of a few seconds to complete the task at hand.
Oh how the tables have turned. The child is now teaching the ropes of life to his mother.
Believe me, he enjoyed every minute of my frustration. Hence the numerous photos he took ;)
Even Bozley was laughing at me!
You know that's NOT a good sign.
While Nicholas was "helping" me he asked if I wanted a Facebook account set up.
He even offered to be my friend.
Seriously???
I think that may be more than my learning curve can handle.
Thanks Nicholas for your help!
What am I going to do when you head off to North Carolina?
I'm going to need your number on speed dial ~ is there such a thing on cell phones :)

I am a techno geek... but thank goodness for my husband and son to be around when I REALLY need help!
At least you were wearing something cute!
Love the pictures of you! I'm sure your sweet son is glad to be of service. You really should jump at the opportunity to be his friend on Facebook. It is quite fun, can take as much or as little time as you'd like and is very low-tech and user friendly. I'll be your friend too!
Crack me up!!! These kids think we are in the dark ages.... It takes them two minutes to do something that most of take an hour to accomplish. I can do it- but my son says I take too long. LOL Always in a hurry. but how come he's never in a hurry to pick up his room or empty the dishwasher. huh?
I'll be your friend on Facebook! I cannot access it from my simple cell phone. Thank goodness. I call and text and don't even want to attempt to learn how to do everything else!
Right there with ya!
This is what I was thinking....stay up to speed with the technology, know how to do stuff, learn the lingo, etc...only problem is I find myself asking who are you?...and where did I put it?
My texting is sloooower than snail mail but I do like the ease of fb...unfortunately my mom sent ME a friend request first!
Hang in there. Knowledge is YOUTH!

Ha Ha This is SO my life!
Oh I am a tech dummy too! But I make a great apple pie. So I think we all have a strengths in life. Ha!
I'm late getting here but I'm glad I didn' miss this. Thanks for the chuckle....at your expense. Truthfully, your dilemna is all too familiar. (And I don't have a teenage boy to help. Hubbie only when I can get his time.)
Hope you're enjoying your vacation.
don't you love it that they have obtained usefulness?? My 14 year old son does my electronics - and my 7 year old can even problem solve for me when I'm stuck. My theory is you have to learn electronics when your brain is still malleable - lol.
facebook is easy peasy - and so much fun! You should definitely get set up and add me as a friend!
