Black and White ~ blooming beauties

I took this at the beginning of the summer when my roses made their first appearance of the season.
It's one of my favorite photos. In fact, I'm considering framing it for our home I like it so much.

I've had my "new" camera for a little over a year now. When I bought it a bloggy friend Kacey suggested a book to read and I took a couple of basic classes that provided some knowledge and comfort. My sweet husband has gifted me with a few new lenses along the way as well. Truth be told, it's the constant snapping away that has provided the best lessons ~ trial and error {lots of them!}.

And I think I'm {finally} getting the hang of it!
{I'm almost ready for one of Lisa's classes now :)}

Wow is this photo beautiful! I think you can definitely say "you've got it" when it comes to photography.

BTW.. I just noticed your quinoa salad. I bought some quinoa a while ago and have never tried cooking it. This looks so yummy... I might have to give it a try.

Love it! And your Chipotle salad. Where would I find those adobe and chipotle ingredients for the dressing. I'd love to give it a try! Assume your TarHeel is due back to NC any time. Let me know if you make it down here. :)
