Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
This beholder is hoping that her kitchen will be back in working order very soon and be just as beautiful as the vision she has in her dreams.
It's not exactly Starbucks but believe me, this scene would be a lot uglier if I didn't have my morning coffee. I came downstairs to find this "set up" one morning and had to laugh at the normalness of morning coffee amongst all the chaos.

I think I can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Well, I'll be able to once we have electricity in the kitchen :)

Oh bless. I know you will be thrilled to have it done. When I was refinishing our kitchen cabinets, my coffee pot was on my bathroom counter. I actually liked it there. I loved waking up to the sound of coffee brewing instead of an obnoxious alarm clock.
I can't wait to see it all fabulous!
I'm right there with you on the coffee thing! By the way I have that same coffee pot! Hope your week has been fabulous!

You're almost there! I'm loving the feel of the colors in the background of the photos...can't wait to see it all put together! I'm sure it'll be beautiful.
Looking forward to catching up.

Oh dear....I did my kitchen a couple years ago (my old one, the dream one that I moved out of 4 months later). It is SO tough, but it will be SO worth it, it's going to be beautiful and I can't wait to see it. Keep your chin up (I know, easier said then done)!
Oh how worth it...it will be! Can't wait to see the outcome!
Oh, I feel your pain. We were in the same spot last year this time. Yes, that light you see at the end of the tunnel will become bright and big - and then you'll forget all about the pain. Till you start the next project. (haha)
Looks great - it's so worth it.
HaHaHaHa....Hang in there!!!!
Can't wait to see the finished product - and I'm sure you feel the same way and then some! Yeah, the coffeemaker is a must, no matter where you have to put it for the time being. :)
That last photo is hilarious!
Based on the first photo, I CANNOT WAIT to see the final product!
This looks like it will be worth it in the end. No more popcorn and a new light fixture? Here's to a good cup of coffee.
I love normalness. Chaos I can do without but WOULD be happy to have it in my kitchen also!
Knowing your taste, it will be a knock-out when finished and also knowing you, you will have all your friends over to Christen it!
Thanks for stopping by today. I'm keeping you in my thoughts & like I said...in my prayers for your family at school.

I can already get an idea of how it's going to look and it looks beautiful. I'm beyond excited for you...WOOOHOOO!!!
A new kitchen. How fun and exciting! :) I love your coffee maker too. Ours has sprung a leak and now we are desperately in need of a new one. Gotta have my coffee!
How exciting! Can't wait to see the final product :)
I thought I had left a comment before, I guess not but I had meant to. I understand about feeling every growing pain one's child goes through. I think every mother does. My friend asked her Dad once when does the worrying stop. 'Never', he said. It's so true what you said about the perceived problems of pre-schoolers. If they only knew. If I only knew then. :) My thoughts are with you. Take care. xoxo
Oh that kitchen is looking gorgeous, can't wait to see!
Love the loyal coffee pot. ;)
