I've done my very best to be a good sport
For many months in a row
Really, I have
We've had inches, feet, and mountains of snow this year
Finally, it melted
I was thrilled
Dare I tempt luck for some warm temperatures?
As in anything above 40 degrees
Word cannot describe how I was looking ahead to green grass and bright sunshine
INSTEAD WE AWOKE TO . . .
Spring showers
As in more snow!
UGH!
I checked, double checked
Ummm, Mother Nature, it's spring
Can we please start acting like it now?

A.G.R.E.E. and listening to forecast this second....MORE of that WHITE stuff on SUNDAY??? Come'on already!!!
I guess it's good for skiing? Tahoe got 3 FEET last night!
Ugh - you poor thing! Yep, we had 80 degree temps on Wednesday, which dropped to 35 degrees on Thursday. There's now a chance of light snow this weekend, just in time for our daughter's first soccer game. Really??
oh noooo, say it isn't so. It's freezing here again too, but thankfully no more white stuff (for now). Have a wonderful weekend, Jo!
xo,
Tessa
It's warm during the day and then almost 32 degrees at night. OK Al Gore, where's this global warming you've been talking about? I'll have some please!
So sorry you New Englanders have gotten deluged with the white stuff this year!

no, no, no...if it makes you feel any better, the high here tomorrow is 48! It was over 80 last Saturday! Bleh!
Hi Jo,
Oh no! ~ so sorry that you have more snow.
Stay warm and hope that the real Spring weather will come your way.
Happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
Boo! I know you have to be ready for some warm sunshine. Maybe she will get the memo this time. :)
Oh goodness, enough snow already, right Mother Nature? Hoping that spring arrives soon....
is it bad that i'm sort of jealous?!? i wish it would snow in savannah!
Ugh! I am SO with you. It is wet and soggy here. No snow, but certainly not spring either. I am longing for sunshine, iced tea and sundresses.
Sigh.
You poor thing! I think a vacation to a tropical place is in order. xo
Jo - you know I have a guest bedroom calling your name! Really, I do think the groundhog was wrong this year.
Amen! We are so over this weather. I keep saying, "Oh, I'm sure this is our last of the cold weather." Riiiight.
Oh goodness, I can understand those feelings for sure! I lived in Canada for the first 25 years of my life and it felt like winter was never going to end! My parents are visiting me at the moment, they just dodged another snowstorm and are thankful for 3 weeks in Georgia. Hope spring arrives soon for you and stays put!
I totally agree with you, Jo. Just when you think the snow and cold is over...it's here again!
I am popping over from Melissa's, where you have a feature. You have a new follower! :-)
XO,
Janie
Hurry up spring sunshine. I hear ya!
Jo I featured your blog on my latest post. I hope it's okay with you.
Warmly, ~Melissa :)
Surely it won't be much longer! I hope! We are enjoying a beautiful spring in Texas. Just a bit of a cold snap this week, but nothing compared to your part of the world. Found my way here by Melissa's blog. Hoping you get some sunshine and warmth soon. Tanna
Wow. I SO wish I could eat carbs right now. lol. Looks so yummy.
I just noticed my new blog design has the same background as yours but in different colors!! :)
oh my... it looks WONDERFUL!
YUM! I can't wait to try your recipe! And snow? Boo! It's trying to warm up here (50 today). Jon's aunt, who lives in Mystic, is coming to visit in a few weeks. Will be interested to hear if we are more "springlike" here! Keep your head up...Spring HAS to come! (We hope, right?)
That soup looks delicous! Sorry it is still so cold! Mercy me! Brrrr...
How could you possibly want Spring with that GORGEOUS snow?!! :D
Thanks for the comment, always glad to hear from you!
