Late Arrival ~ Just what I needed!

I can't tell you how excited I was at 5:45am this morning!
The call came in that we had a late arrival which means I had an extra 90 minutes to myself this morning ~ yea!
The best part ... a late arrival isn't a day that we need to make up in June!

I addressed Christmas cards, started dinner, cleaned a bath and a half, and knocked off a few more "to do" items from my list.

It really was very beautiful and just the boost I needed to get me into the Christmas spirit!

How nice! My son is up in CT and had late arrival to college...he was very happy, too. Of course, he used his time wisely, also-sleeping! We, on LI, had torrents of rain-not as pretty!

Oh how beautiful! I am a little jealous, it is still 85 degrees here. I know Christmas is 100% about our Lord and Saviour, but geezzz, a little cold weather to go along with it would be nice. I love snow!!

Lucky you to have snow! Your photo is just beautiful - the blue sky and snow with the house nestled in the edge of the trees is post-card perfect.

Isn't that wonderful? It's great to have a little extra time during the holidays - Lord knows we need it!

I just loved delayed openings/late arrivals of school!

Actually, I have been home sick for the past two days, and have been addressing Christmas cards (and blogging on my southern Christmas ornaments). Don't like a hacking cough, but I don't know when I could have gotten it done!

Enjoy your winter wonderland!!!
