Holiday cheer
This weekend I hosted my annual Cookie Exchange. I wanted to serve a fun and festive cocktail full of holiday cheer.
When my guests arrived, they were offered a pomegranate sparkler. I placed a scattering of pomegranate seeds in the bottom of each champagne glass. The effect was just what I was wishing!
The silver tray was my mother's and one that I use daily in our home. Not only is it functional, it offers years of wonderful memories from my childhood.
Cheers!

Beautiful presentation! Your tray looks similar to one I received from a dear aunt when I married. You've inspired me to get it out and use it!
I really love the color conversion in this - can you tell me how you did it? So pretty with your silver tray and the blog header (I love it!)
Merry Christmas!
ps in Australia they put Wild Hibiscus Flowers in their champagne glasses - the pomegranate is beautiful!
Beautiful! I saw loose pom seeds in the market last week...now I know what to use them for :O)
Cheers....now that has a lovely sound to it. I love the vintage feel of this shot. And that drink must have been wonderful.
Jo, we are on the same page, I'm juicing the pomegranates to go in martinis or add to champagne. How perfect is it?? Delish and oh so antioxidant. But wait, I want to see more photos....!
How fun and special!
