I just can't take it anymore ~ I've had enough!

It has been raining for days which has turned into weeks and I'm beginning to think it's never, ever going to stop.
The picture above is of me {in cartoon like characteristics} This is what I look like today on June 23rd. Yes, I checked the calendar and it is in fact June. This month also happens to fall into the season of summer {I had to check that too!}
What?
You're confused as to why I have on a jacket and scarf, with long pants and boots while holding an umbrella?
The answer is simple ~
Mother Nature here in Connecticut hasn't gotten the memo ...
it's summer!

I hear you! It has rained 25 of the last 22 days here too. I think my shorts and tees are starting to collect dust!

Hi, I hear you also. It rained ten straight days in Florida two weeks ago and I thought I would lose my mind.

Hang in there.

Oh I hear you. If we all screamed at exactly the same time, do you think we could part the clouds? Our summer attire: jeans, boots, spring jackets, gloves (yes, my hands were freezing the other morning!)long sleeve shirts.

Can I believe that it is raining here on Long Island AGAIN? I understand it is 28 days here! I am so used to the darkness that I think I won't know what to do if it is sunny! Like you, I am in long pants and jackets!aaarrgghh!

Ditto. It's been so yucky all spring and now it's summer. I want to be complaining how hot I am.

My daughter and I made a list of all the things that we can do when the sun shines and a list of all the things that we have done during this rain...we have done everything but build and ark! I think how fortunate the plants and birds are, but then again, they probably would like some sun too.
