Black and White ~ Pages in Time

As the season is about to change into a softer more gentle phase, so will my lifestyle.
During the winter I like to hunker down with comfort foods, fluffy down comforters and pages filled with various forms of entertainment.
As spring arrives I look forward spending less time indoors and more in my flower beds, catching up with neighbors after a long winter, and evening walks on the beach.

This photo was taken of my bedside table after a Blogger Book Swap. The pictures represent my life as a toddler on the lap of my mother {my favorite choice of seating} and as a wife on the arm of my husband just before dashing off to a formal event.

As with the seasons, our identities as individuals change over periods of time.

Beautiful photo!

I feel the same way. It takes a lot to get me out of the house during the winter months. I would rather stay here in my cozy home surrounded by my family and favorite things, but look out when the weather breaks!!

Enjoy your day!

A lovely photo! I love the reflection in the table of the bottom book (things are too dusty at my house to EVER have a pretty reflection like that, so I tend to notice these things ;D)

You and I have very similar items on our bedside tables. I'm always reading books - can't get enough! Love that you have Jane Austen on your table - did you see "Persuasion" on PBS the other night? Loved it!

What a great picture. I love to read books in the winter too! I find that I read more during the summer though when I am at the pool with my son : ).
