          let it snow,  let it snow

We've had blizzard warnings here in Connecticut since last night for our area. There was a light dusting on the ground Christmas night but nothing to really get excited about.

We are singing a different tune now. The wind is picking up, the snow is falling a little faster and the roads are really slick. Kevin and I went out this morning and on our way home we saw 3 accidents along with numerous sliding and one very impressive spin out by a small truck. He handled it well and no one got hit or hurt. That's all it took for us to head straight home.

There is a cozy fire being tended by my husband, I'm making a pot chili for supper and most importantly ...

We are stocked for the blizzard of 2010 with plenty of red wine and chocolate! :)
{milk and bread are so overrated ~ ha!}

Stay warm and cozy.

So jealous....our Christmas guests did a job on our wine stock...I think we went through 6 bottles before I {passed out} fell asleep last night! I hope there is enough left to get us through! Merry Belated Christmas.

I've never had to endure a blizzard (thank heavens!). But if I were to find myself in one, wine would definitely be on the top of the list!

Stay safe and warm!

So far it looks beautiful and yes, if you have red wine and chocolate, you are well prepared :)

Enjoy!

I'm with ya on the wine and chocolate. We did have a white Christmas here...amazing! I only remember one other from my childhood so it was really special. I think we ended up with about 4 inches. It was nice, but it started to melt. Yay! I like to see it fall, but then I like to see it gone!

Jo, Merry Christmas! Enjoy a cozy night in front of the fire! Glad your hubby is feeling better too. I left a comment a few days ago telling you how beautiful your stockings turned out - far prettier than mine, but I don't think you got it. I must forget to type the encrypted word more often than not. Anyways...off to drink a little red wine (and maybe eat some chocolate) in in front of my fire too. Stay warm!

I think there are few things better than being snowed in with ones you love--provided all the necessities are in the refrigerator! :)

Enjoy!
